Hunt Battle: Event Briefing

How the 15-wave alliance Hunt Battle works, how to make the difficulty call, the wave-by-wave orders, and who runs what on command.

Hunt Battle event briefing with the wave timeline and command checklist
Read through it before our first run.

Hunt Battle is an alliance event where waves of Blights attack our territory and the whole alliance fights them off together. It has one attempt per event and a difficulty you can’t change once chosen, so the plan matters before anyone sends a march. Read this before our first run so nobody’s guessing when it goes live.

1. How Hunt Battle works#

  • Alliance-wide event — not alliance vs alliance. There’s no enemy alliance; everyone fights the Blights.
  • Requires 20+ active members. “Active” matters — members who don’t show up don’t help clear waves.
  • Only R4 or R5 can start it. Leadership picks the time and difficulty.
  • Blights spawn in waves on our territory.

2. The waves#

StageWhat happens
Prep window (5 minutes)No combat yet. Get online, get squads ready, and position.
Waves 1–1515 waves arrive, each harder than the last.

Every march has a fixed 15-second travel time, for everyone. Distance doesn’t matter — a member far from the action reaches a target as fast as one next to it. That means everyone can contribute to every wave, and nobody can be “too far away.”

3. The difficulty call#

  • Difficulty locks in once chosen.
  • One attempt per event.
  • A full clear beats a harder partial clear.

Why: a harder difficulty looks tempting, but if the alliance stalls on wave 11, the run ends there. A lower difficulty the alliance actually finishes pays out the full clear. Leadership picks the difficulty based on who will realistically be online and fighting — not on what our top accounts could solo.

Clear beats ambition
Pick the difficulty the alliance can actually finish. You only get one attempt.

4. Wave orders#

The waves get harder as they go, so the plan changes in three stages:

  • Waves 1–5: deploy nonstop. Early waves are the easiest. Keep marches going constantly so they’re cleared fast and nothing piles up.
  • Waves 6–10: focus fire on called targets. Waves get tougher. Follow the targets called in chat instead of spreading out — concentrated damage clears a target before it overwhelms anyone.
  • Waves 11–15: buffs live before wave 11. The final waves are the hardest. Have your buffs activated before wave 11 starts, not after it’s already hitting.

5. BF command checklist#

Each role has one job:

RoleResponsibility
God of WarRuns the event.
RecruiterConfirms headcount — makes sure we have 20+ active members before starting.
GoddessChecks prep before combat.

Before the run: member checklist#

  • Be online when the event is scheduled — we need 20+ active.
  • Use the 5-minute prep window to get your squads ready.
  • Have buffs ready to activate before wave 11.
  • Watch chat for called targets from wave 6 onward.
