Alliance Duel: All Six Phases
What scores, what to save, and what to spend across the Monday–Saturday Alliance Duel cycle, including the 4-point Raid the Enemy phase.

Alliance Duel can be one of the easiest events to waste resources on if you’re not paying attention to which phase is active. Every day of the week scores a different activity. A UR Caravan launched on Tuesday scores 115,000 points; launched on Thursday, it isn’t one of that day’s scoring activities. The biggest advantage in Alliance Duel isn’t simply having the strongest accounts — it’s timing.
This guide covers what the event is, how winning works, what scores on each day, and the plan BF2 uses to maximize the weekly result.
What Alliance Duel is#
- A weekly alliance-vs-alliance competition. Your alliance is matched against one opponent alliance for the week.
- Eligibility: only alliances with 20+ members on Sunday and in the top 32 by server Might can participate.
- Six phases run Monday to Saturday, one per day.
- Daily settlement is at server time 00:00. Whatever you score before reset counts for that day’s phase; after reset, the next phase begins.
- The alliance with the higher total wins.
Alliance Duel also feeds Kingdom War — see the Kingdom War guide for how duel results count toward your server’s weekly standing.
How winning works: victory points#
Each day, the alliance that scores more points in that day’s phase wins the phase and earns victory points. At the end of the week, the side with more victory points wins.
| Day | Phase | Victory points |
|---|---|---|
| Monday | 1 — Enhance Raven | 1 |
| Tuesday | 2 — Territory Development | 2 |
| Wednesday | 3 — Tech Research | 2 |
| Thursday | 4 — Hero Growth | 2 |
| Friday | 5 — War Preparation | 2 |
| Saturday | 6 — Raid the Enemy | 4 |
There are 13 victory points available in total. Phase 6 alone is worth 4 — almost a third of the week. An alliance can lose three of the first five days and still win the week by taking Saturday. That’s why coordinating for raid day matters so much.
Phase by phase#
Phase 1 — Enhance Raven (Monday, 1 pt)#
Everything that grows your Raven scores today.
- Best scorers: Falcon Quest = 15,000 each; Raven Essence = 2,875 each.
- Also scores: Stamina, Antitoxin, Raven Fruit, Grain, and Timber.
- Points buffs: All Points +15% (excluding diamond purchases) and Falcon Quest Points +35%.
Why it matters: the +35% Falcon Quest buff makes Monday one of the best days to run Falcon Quests. Save Raven Essence through the week and spend it here.
Phase 2 — Territory Development (Tuesday, 2 pts)#
Building growth scores today.
- Scores: construction speedups and Building Might.
- Big scorers: UR Covert Operation = 86,250; UR Caravan = 115,000.
- Also scores: recruiting a survivor once = 1,725.
Why it matters: a single UR Caravan is worth more than seven Falcon Quests on Monday. Hold your UR Covert Ops and UR Caravans for this day (and Saturday — see Phase 6).
Phase 3 — Tech Research (Wednesday, 2 pts)#
Research growth scores today.
- Raven Gear Chests score huge points: Lv5 = 103,500, Lv6 = 310,500, Lv7 = 931,500.
- Also scores: research speedups, Tech Might, Study Scrolls, and Falcon Quests.
Why it matters: one Lv7 Raven Gear Chest (931,500) can outscore an entire day of ordinary activity. Never open these chests on any other day.
Phase 4 — Hero Growth (Thursday, 2 pts)#
Hero progression scores today.
- Scores: recruiting heroes and spending hero growth items.
- Hero Shards: UR = 11,500; SSR = 4,025; SR = 1,150 each.
- Also contribute: Skill Badges and Antitoxin.
Why it matters: hero shards spent on another day don’t count toward Hero Growth. Save shards, recruit tickets, and Skill Badges for Thursday.
Phase 5 — War Preparation (Friday, 2 pts)#
Troop training scores today.
- Train troops — higher troop tiers score more. Example: one T10 soldier trained = 143 points.
- Also scores: training boosts, building/tech growth, speedups, and Falcon Quests.
Why it matters: queue long training batches to finish on Friday. The Waterfall Doctrine explains how to prepare lower-tier troops all week and promote them on this day for extra points.
Phase 6 — Raid the Enemy (Saturday, 4 pts)#
Combat against your duel opponent scores today.
- Most points: defeating soldiers in your specific duel matchup. Example: a matched T10 defeat = 74.3 points each.
- Fewer points: general defeats, and even your own troop losses, give some points.
- Also scores: healing speedups, UR Covert Operation, and UR Caravan.
Why it matters: this is the 4-point day. Attacks on your matched opponent are worth far more than random fights, so follow alliance calls on targets. Shields matter on Saturday — if you’re not fighting, protect yourself.
What to save for which day#
| Save this… | …for this day |
|---|---|
| Raven Essence, Falcon Quests | Monday (Phase 1) |
| UR Covert Ops, UR Caravans, construction speedups | Tuesday (Phase 2) and Saturday (Phase 6) |
| Raven Gear Chests, research speedups, Study Scrolls | Wednesday (Phase 3) |
| Hero shards, recruit tickets, Skill Badges, Antitoxin | Thursday (Phase 4) |
| Troop training, training speedups | Friday (Phase 5) |
| Healing speedups, combat-ready troops | Saturday (Phase 6) |
BF2 best strategy#
- Save resources for the correct phase instead of spending them randomly through the week.
- Use Falcon Quests on Days 1, 3, and 5 — the days they score.
- Use UR Covert Ops and UR Caravans on Days 2 and 6.
- Save hero shards for Hero Growth, troop training for War Preparation, and research resources for Tech Research.
- Phase 6 is worth 4 victory points — coordinate for raid day.
- Watch alliance chat and mail before spending big resources. Leadership may call a push on a close day or tell you to hold if a phase is already won.
Key rules and notes#
- There are daily and weekly player leaderboards in addition to the alliance result.
- Reward chests for stages 4–9 require Alliance Duel tech research. If the alliance hasn’t researched it, those chests stay locked — see Alliance Research 101.
- If you change alliances during Alliance Duel, your points don’t count toward the alliance total for that day. Avoid switching mid-week.
